Return & Exchange Policy
Applied NanoStructures Inc manufactures high quality AFM probes in-house. The probes are batch fabricated. Every wafer in the batch undergoes stringent quality checks at all the steps of the manufacturing process. Sample probes from every wafer are removed to verify the specifications using high resolution SEM and AFM to guarantee specification conformance.
The AFM probes are consumable. Their performance and longevity depends not only on the probes but also upon the user scan parameters, intended application and type of the sample. Because of the factors out of our control, we refund or replace probes that do not meet our published specification.
For return use the following guidelines:

Contact customer support info(at)appnano.com within two weeks of receiving the product to get an RMA number and shipping the product back at your own cost.

The returns must be authorized by an Applied NanoStructures Inc. representative.

A replacement product will be provided upon analyzing the problem with the returned product. The returned product should be in the original package. A replacement of the compliance product will be sent out the same day of the receiving.
