SensaProbes

SensaProbes are manufactured by Applied NanoStructures using a simplified semiconductor process to produce AFM probes for everyday lab use at affordable prices.   SensaProbes are made to exceed the expectation of users of other low cost AFM probes. The manufacturing of SensaProbes utilizes new high volume processes and standard semiconductor production techniques which achieves high yields at good quality and at reduced cost. This benefit saves AFM labs hundreds of dollars per month on routine probes. SensaProbes are highly recommended for early stage scans and student use.

TM300 - Tapping SensaProbes-125µm

SensaProbes Tapping Mode Probes
TM300 & TM190 are high resonance frequency AFM tips for tapping/non-contact mode applications. The probes come in variable cantilever dimensions and the option of aluminum backside coated (for increased reflectivity) or bare silicon cantilevers.


TM300 – Nominal Specifications:
Resonance Frequency: 300kHz
Spring Constant: 40N/m
Cantilever Length: 125µm

TM190 – Nominal Specifications:
Resonance Frequency: 190kHz

FM60 SensaProbe

SensaProbes Force Modulation Mode Probes
FM60 are medium resonance frequency AFM tips for force modulation mode applications. FM60 can also be utilized in contact and tapping mode applications and is regarded as a multi-purpose tip. The probes come with the option of aluminum backside coated (for increased reflectivity) or bare silicon cantilevers.


FM60 – Nominal Specifications:
Resonance Frequency: 60kHz
Spring Constant: 3N/m

CM28 SensaProbes

SensaProbes Contact Mode Probes
CM28 & CM12 are low resonance frequency, low spring constant AFM tips for contact mode applications. The probes come in variable cantilever dimensions and the option of aluminum backside coated (for increased reflectivity) or bare silicon cantilevers.


CM28 – Nominal Specifications:
Resonance Frequency: 28kHz
Spring Constant: 0.1N/m
Cantilever Length: 225µm

CM12 – Nominal Specifications:
Resonance Frequency: 12kHz
Spring Constant: 0.2N/m
